GamFin provides customized financial training and financial counseling services for those in gambling recovery.

Algamus Alumni have access to a weekly GamFin call on Tuesdays from 7-8pm ET.

This group call is open to all Alumni to attend and is intended to be a offer support and guidance to individuals navigating the recovery process while fostering a supportive environment for others in recovery to share the strategies and skills that they have found helpful.

If a specific financial counseling topic comes up that requires a personal call to discuss, the GamFin team will reach out to set up a one-on-one call to maintain your privacy. 

Our GamFin Group Call meets weekly on Tuesdays. Topics that may be covered are:

• Quick check in: how are you feeling right now?
• Navigating debt: family debt, credit card debt, IRS debt, or illegal debt. 
• Financial planning: budgeting and balancing income to expenses. 
• Community support: support from others and access to resources in your community. 

We hope you will leave these sessions with:

• Improved understanding of gambling addiction on your finances
• A new vocabulary to improve communication about your finances
• Tools and strategies to better manage your relationship with money
• A stronger, united support group to face addiction's challenges together
